About this strain
A reishi strain selected for growing in “antler” form. It forms branching, fan-like, glossy red-brown growths with paler tips — resembling deer antlers or a bonsai tree. It responds strongly to light: the growths reach towards it, so by placing the light source you can shape them, even downwards like a cascade bonsai. Striking and popular in decorative arrangements.
It is grown on sterilised hardwood sawdust blocks, in warm conditions and at high CO₂, which keeps the antler form.

Harvest when the growths stop extending and their tips harden. Dry them; they are hard and woody and are not eaten fresh.
